His natural abilities and sheer talent has created opportunities domestic and abroad for this dynamic composer, songwriter, drummer, studio musician, and businessman.

 

Russell Nelson’s creativity has given him the honor to share the same stage with groups such as “ Toni Tony Tone”, “Lakeside”, “ The Gap Band”, “Alexander O’ Neal”, “Stevie B”, “ The Boys”, “ After 7” and  “The Jackson’s”. A drumstick endorsement with “silver Fox”.  “ Publishing contract with Music Publishing Group” Released Jazz Album Secrets in 2016 nation wide. The album “ Secrets “ has been archived in the  African American Museum & Library in Oakland , Music from Secrets has been used for the Liz Russell Collection., and is currently being used on Cyrus Web radio show “Conversation Live”. Russell Nelson has written music for a documentary on world piece. Russell released 2 jazz releases in 2016 Feelin you, and Tenderness. Russell wrote a song for the “Author “Mary E. Gilder for her book  “ Even a Man can have a broken Heart” called Troubles of the Heart which will be released on Russell Nelson’s 3rd album. Russell Nelson has release his 2nd project called ‘Chillin With RNelson late 2017. 2019,the project (Sincerely Russell Nelson) was released on 01/29.2019.

 

This dynamic, syncopated drummer/ composer was privileged to show his creative ability performing in countries such as Germany, Japan, England, Singapore, Italy, Iceland, Greenland, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Spain, Portugal, Korea, Turkey, Canada, Scotland, Holland and the United States.
